The Angel Shepherds Hut AirBnB
The Angel Shepherds Hut is off grid (no electricity) AirBnB and is situated in the 2 acre grounds of Tremorran’s Quiet Garden. Insulated with sheep’s wool, the hut is made of wood with a shingle roof. A comfortable double bed invites you inside: a small locally made unique woodburning stove is situated in the corner, and there is a pull-up table under the window. It is a short walk across the lawn to a luxury shower room with towels, robes and toiletries supplied.
The AirBnB Accommodation
The morning sun rises over the top of the trees to shine on the hut’s gravel garden furnished with picnic table, surrounded by exotic grasses and alpine plants. The hut has a comfortable bed and unique wood burning stove especially created for the space. Bedding, towels and robes are provided.
The shower room with power shower is stepping stones away in the main house. From here there is access into the Arts and Crafts Gallery and the Conservatory where guests may sit in inclement weather, look out onto the west lawn with sea views and Poldark Mine in the distance. In the Conservatory there are facilities to make a cuppa, charge phones and there is access to wireless internet.
There is room for a small suitcase under the bed. Please note there are no facilities to cook meals in or around the hut. A hearty breakfast is an optional extra prepared by your host in the house for service in the breakfast room in Tremorran or weather permitting, at your picnic bench.
Guests are invited to explore the 2 acre Quiet Garden with separate 'rooms': secret garden, studio garden with lily pond, kitchen garden, orchard and west lawn with fish ponds.
The Angel Sheperds Hut is situated inside the grounds of Tremorran & the Angel House which is run as a Bed & Breakfast, and the adjoining Arts and Crafts Gallery is always open to guests of The Angel Shepherds Hut.
Arts & Crafts workshops are regularly run in the studio by Annie Henry. You are invited to ‘Come Back to the Garden’ and explore the Quiet Garden surrounding the shepherds hut. A short walk 10 minutes away is the South West coast path, The National Trust Mining heritage area , the Poldark Mine and The Queen’s Arms Pub which is open all day from 12 noon. Options for breakfast also available in St Just town, 2 minutes’ drive away.
The west facing gravel garden is where we watch the sun go down and wait for the stars to come out. The dark skies of west Cornwall allow us to enjoy stargazing on clear nights
